We couldn't let a summer go by and not go to the beach. Even though I was off all summer, it was a blur and we didn't get to the beach once. Yesterday we packed up the girls and off we went. It was a cool day and it was even cooler at the beach. Kate looked adorable in her new fleece pink jog set from Old Navy. Kate LOVED the beach and wanted to get in the water. And although Grace says she does not like the sand, she had a good time playing in the sand. Java wasn't sure what to make of the sand and surf and he didn't realize he should love the water! Hopefully he'll be swimming by next summer. Hopefully Kate will be walking by then too. That sure has been slow going...
