We finally made it to the premire night of High School Musical 2. It was much anticipated and to celebrate the event we had a HSM 2 Party. Grace invited 5 of her friends and we had a blast. The girls got here at 4:30 and had snacks and screached about one thing or another. We ordered pizza so they kind of ate but really mostly ate Fruit by the Foot and Gushers (huge hit with the 5/6 year old set). They listened to the HSM 2 sound track and played Freeze Dance while I cleaned up the table for our craft. They made pennants to wave to support their team the Wildcats! We then had make your own ice cream sundaes for dessert. Which really just consisted of me doling out cherries to everyone while trying ot controll the spraying of the whipcream in a can. All in all, I think the party was a success, at least 3 girls didn't want to go home and one wanted to hide when her mother came. Now that's the sign of a good party. The funniest thing was the girls started taping little glitter pom poms to their heads and through the power of imagination turned themselves into unicorns. They had a great time playing Unicorn family.
At 8:00 we had our popcorn popped and we were seated on the couch ready to go. Grace fell asleep at 9:00 (thankfully we DVR'd it)but I watched all the way until the end. It was a great moving. That Zack is so cute! We were thrilled to hear about HSM 3 and can't wait to plan that party.
